Designed by us eight years ago and handcarved from a single piece of 2" thick quarter-sawn FSC ( Forestry Stewards Council ) certified British oak, our carvers use a gentle "fall" and the planetary principle of gravity, to drain all the juices into a realistically large trough. They will accomodate the largest of joints and are a joy to behold and use.
They come into their own as a carver, but are suitable for everyday use in the kitchen - cut enough tomatoes and you know what a mess that can make...
Measurements vary but are roughly 20" X 14" X 2" with the trough to the front edge.
As each is entirely unique, they make a great personal gift.

Also designed by us eight years ago and handcrafted from 2" quarter-sawn British Oak, our Pestle & Mortar boards are the obvious union of a handy kitchen tool and a handy place to use it. Measuring approximately 20" x 12" x 2", they have ample room for food preparation whilst grinding your herbs, pepper or garlic. The Pestles are topped with a stone end for maximum durability and are all 100% unique. Without the pestle they double as a serving board with a recess for a sauce or dip. Measuring approximately 18" X 13" X 1", our English Chestnut Tray boards are both versatile and extremely durable.
As the name implies, they are of a suitable size to be used as an outdoor tray for drinks and other items, but also atttractive to double as a cheeseboard, a breadboard or everyday cutting board. These can be made with a traditional handle should one require, please specify.
Chestnut has the wonderful quality of being a "waterproof" timber when seasoned, thus coping well with everyday wash and wear.

The design of our stainless-steel mezzoluna enables one-handed use, while leaving ample preparation room on the board for general use. Each handle is crafted to be 100% unique.
